Amish Sunday Savior Casserole

A comforting, no-fuss casserole that combines ground beef, vegetables, and egg noodles, perfect for family meals.

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces until there is no pink.
  3. Add the chopped onion, carrots, and celery, and sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Stir in the frozen peas and cooked egg noodles, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until heated through and slightly golden on top. Let rest before serving.

Notes
