Banana Split Dump Cake

A delightful dessert capturing the classic banana split flavors in an easy dump cake form.

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries (for topping)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  3. Slice the ripe bananas and spread them evenly in the baking dish.
  4. Pour the crushed pineapple over the bananas.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the banana and pineapple layers.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped nuts over the cake mix.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.

Notes
