Banana Split Dump Cake

A simple, family-friendly dessert combining the delicious flavors of a classic banana split into an easy dump cake.

  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Layer the sliced bananas evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish.
  4. Sprinkle the drained crushed pineapple over the bananas.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the dry chocolate pudding mix over the fruit layer.
  6. Spread the dry cake mix evenly on top of the pudding mix.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the mixes.
  8. Sprinkle chopped nuts and coconut on top.
  9. Bake for 35-45 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  10. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
