Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

A delightful blend of creamy cheesecake, tart apples, and sweet caramel, these bars provide the perfect fall-inspired dessert experience.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare your baking dish (9×13 inches) with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press into the bottom of your prepared dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  4. While the crust is baking, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla extract.
  5. Once the crust cools, pour the cheesecake filling over the crust.
  6. In a skillet, toss the apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until softened.
  7. Pour the cooked apples over the cheesecake layer and bake for 35-40 minutes or until set. Chill for at least 2 hours.
  8. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

For best results, serve chilled and consider pairing with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
