Cheesy Broccoli Casserole

A bubbling, cheesy delight that combines tender broccoli florets with creamy cheese sauce and a crispy topping, perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Steam the broccoli until just tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, and shredded cheese. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add steamed broccoli to the cheese mixture and fold until evenly coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter in a small bowl and top the casserole evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.

Notes

Can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
