The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Deliciously soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Notes

Chill the dough for thicker cookies and store in an airtight container for up to a week.
