Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and miniature marshmallows.
  6. Scoop dough balls onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.

Notes

Consider using flavored marshmallows or adding nuts for variation.
