Crispy Broccoli Cheese Balls

Delicious crispy bites of broccoli and cheese, perfect as a snack or side dish, featuring a golden exterior and creamy interior.

  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed until tender
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or cheese blend)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Steam broccoli florets until tender, about 5 minutes. Cool and chop finely.
  2. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until sticky.
  3. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Cool slightly before serving, best enjoyed warm with dipping sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, customize with herbs, spices, or different cheeses. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
