Dump & Bake Marry Me Orzo Bake

A comforting, creamy one-dish dinner featuring silky orzo, broccoli, and sun-dried tomatoes, baked to perfection with a cheesy finish.

  • 1 lb orzo pasta
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 handfuls fresh spinach, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine orzo, broccoli, vegetable broth, heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, salt, crushed red pepper flakes, oregano, black pepper, and smoked paprika in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth into an even layer. Cover loosely with foil.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  5. Remove the foil and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped spinach.
  6. Let the dish sit for a few minutes before serving to thicken slightly.

Notes

Taste the broth base before baking and adjust salt or red pepper flakes as needed. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
