Family-Friendly Sausage and Egg Casserole

A warm, hearty casserole perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner that combines sausage, eggs, and veggies for a delicious family meal.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, crumble the sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked sausage, bell pepper, spinach, and half of the cheese to the egg mixture; stir to combine.
  5. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the mixture into it, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set and golden brown.

Notes

Customize with your favorite ingredients. Can be refrigerated overnight before baking.
