Garlic Butter Beef & Cheesy Bowtie Pasta

A comforting and easy-to-prepare dish that combines tender beef with bowtie pasta in a creamy garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz. bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a generous pinch of salt and the bowtie pasta. Cook according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Once the beef is browned, lower the heat and add the minced garlic and butter. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Drain the pasta, reserving a small cup of pasta water. Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic butter beef and stir to combine, adding reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the mixture and stir until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
