Christmas Ribbon Salad

A colorful, festive dessert that layers Jell-O with creamy textures, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces lime Jell-O, powder
  • 2 1/4 cups hot water
  • 8 ounces block cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 3 ounces lemon Jell-O, powder
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 6 ounces cherry Jell-O, powder
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the lime Jell-O in 2 1/4 cups hot water and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
  2. Beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
  3. Melt the marshmallows with pineapple juice over medium heat until combined and cool slightly.
  4. Dissolve the lemon Jell-O powder in 1 1/2 cups hot water and set aside to cool.
  5. Combine the cooled marshmallow mixture and dissolved lemon Jell-O with the cream cheese and mix until smooth.
  6. Add the cream mixture over the set lime Jell-O layer and chill until firm.
  7. Prepare the cherry Jell-O with 2 cups hot water, cool, and pour over the cream layer.
  8. Chill until fully set, then slice into squares and serve.

Notes

Soften cream cheese for best mixing. Cool layers before adding to maintain texture.
