Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake Cookies

Soft and tender cookies combining the sweet spice of cinnamon rolls with the creamy richness of cheesecake.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, for frosting
  • 12 tablespoons milk, for frosting
  • Extra cinnamon, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll them into balls, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
  8. Mix the powdered sugar with milk until you reach the desired consistency, drizzle over cooled cookies, and sprinkle with extra cinnamon.

Notes

For best results, ensure butter and cream cheese are fully softened. If the dough is sticky, chill for 15 minutes before scooping.
