Condensed Milk Pecan Pie

A simple and comforting dessert featuring a rich, caramel-like filling with crunchy pecans and a flaky crust.

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Extra pecan halves for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) with the rack in the center position.
  2. Place the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate, crimping the edges as desired.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Gently stir in the chopped pecans, reserving some for topping if desired.
  5. Pour the filling mixture into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Arrange the pecan halves on top for decoration.
  7. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
  8. Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs for a smoother filling. Store leftovers covered at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerated for up to 4 days.
