A comforting creamy beef pasta dish perfect for family dinners, blending rich flavors and simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz Pasta (Elbow Macaroni or Penne)
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Italian Herbs (Basil, Oregano, Thyme)
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef: In the same pot, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sauté Aromatics: Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot with the beef. Sauté until onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add Liquids: Pour in beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in heavy cream and bubble softly for about 5 minutes.
  5. Mix in Cheese and Herbs: Reduce heat to low, stir in grated Parmesan, dried herbs, salt, and pepper until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
  6. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add drained pasta to the pot and toss gently to coat. Cook together for another minute.
  7. Serve: Ladle pasta onto plates or bowls, garnishing with additional Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.
