Crispy Parmesan Garlic Zucchini Fries

Delightfully crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, these Zucchini Fries are a perfect snack or side dish, enhanced with garlic and Parmesan aromas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchinis, cut into fry-shaped batons
  • 65 grams all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 60 grams panko breadcrumbs
  • 50 grams grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly mist it with olive oil.
  2. Set up three shallow bowls: place flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in the third.
  3. Begin the coating process by dredging each zucchini piece in flour first, then dip it into the beaten eggs.
  4. Coat the zucchini thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Arrange the coated zucchini fries on the baking sheet in a single layer and lightly spray the tops with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For extra flavor, season with herbs like oregano or thyme before coating. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
