  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and patting them dry with paper towels.
  2. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet in a single layer and cook without stirring for 5 to 7 minutes.
  6. Stir the chicken pieces and continue cooking for another 5 to 7 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle parsley over the chicken and toss well.
  8. Check doneness with a meat thermometer (165°F or 75°C).
  9. Serve immediately, optionally with lemon wedges.

Notes

Pat chicken thoroughly dry before seasoning to get a good sear.
