  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop large balls of dough (about 1/4 cup each) onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown; the centers may look underbaked.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
