Instructions

  3. Add the eggs, whole milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  4. Gradually stir in the hot coffee until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  8. Frost the cakes with your favorite chocolate icing.

Notes

For an even moister cake, add an additional tablespoon of vegetable oil. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
