Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole

A comforting casserole that combines savory meatloaf and creamy mac and cheese into a delightful dish.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cooked macaroni with milk and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. In a baking dish, spread half of the mac and cheese mixture on the bottom. Layer the meatloaf mixture on top, then add the remaining mac and cheese.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Customize with vegetables or spices to suit your taste. Leftovers can be stored for up to three days.
