Oreo Truffles

Rich, no-bake Oreo Truffles combine cookie crumbs and cream cheese, cloaked in smooth melted chocolate for an indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 regular Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet or white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional for decoration)
  • Oreo crumbs (for coating or garnish)
  • Additional melted chocolate (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the crushed Oreo cookies into a food processor and pulse into fine crumbs.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese and beat until smooth.
  3. Scoop out spoonfuls of the mixture, about 1 tablespoon each, and roll into balls, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the balls for at least 1 hour.
  5. Melt the chopped chocolate with optional oil using a microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate using a fork, tapping to release excess coating.
  7. Place the dipped truffles back on the lined plate and optionally sprinkle decorations on top while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Refrigerate the truffles for an additional hour to set the chocolate before serving.
  9. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

For best results, let the truffles sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to enhance flavors.
