These Pizza Chips are a deliciously crispy snack that brings all the joy of pizza right to your fingertips, featuring melted mozzarella, savory Parmesan, and zesty mini pepperoni.

  • 150 grams shredded mozzarella cheese (low moisture)
  • 50 grams shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 60 grams mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce or marinara sauce (optional for drizzling)
  • Crumbled cooked bacon (optional)
  • Chopped black olives (optional)
  • Diced bell peppers (optional)
  • Sliced jalapenos (optional)
  • Dried oregano or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Combine the shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.
  3. Spoon approximately 15 grams of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening each mound slightly.
  4. Top each cheese disc with one or two mini pepperoni slices and any optional toppings.
  5. Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, watching closely to avoid over-browning.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the chips cool on the tray for 2 to 3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  7. Serve the chips warm or at room temperature with dipping sauces.

Notes

Store leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. They are best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in an oven to regain crispiness.
