Quick Garlic Butter Chicken

A weeknight lifesaver delivering golden seared chicken breasts in a rich garlic butter sauce; quick, comforting, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Pat them dry first for better browning.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Let it foam slightly but do not allow it to burn.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir continuously to prevent the garlic from browning too quickly.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Pat chicken dry and bring to room temperature before cooking for even browning. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
