  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs, at room temperature

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the sifted flour and salt, alternating with the milk.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60-75 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
