Sticky Honey Chicken

A delightful Asian-inspired dish featuring succulent chicken coated in a glossy, sweet, and sticky glaze made from honey, soy sauce, and garlic.

  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • Sesame Seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to make the glaze.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and sear for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Pour the glaze over the chicken, stirring to coat. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds if desired, and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve warm over rice or alongside steamed vegetables.

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with tofu or seitan. Adjust spice levels to suit personal preferences.
