  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together unsalted butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add in the egg and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, and baking powder, then fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop dough into balls and place on the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are slightly golden.
  7. While cooling, beat powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla until smooth, then drizzle over cookies before serving.
